How it works
Games are a quick break on the kitchen iPad. Tap Play Today’s Game on the dashboard. If nobody is selected yet, pick who is playing, then tap Start playing.
Six games are included. Copy Cat, Number Grid, and Word Hunt come with Chorish Plus.

Play today’s game
- On the home dashboard, tap Play Today’s Game (it shows the name, e.g. Play Today’s Game: Emoji Riddle).
- If you see Who’s playing?, tap a member card.
- Read the short how-to, then tap Start playing. The clock waits until you do.
- Play by tapping answers, tiles, or letters.
- When it ends, tap Back to Dashboard or Play again.
If you close the dialog before Start playing, nothing is recorded.
Owner: when you are selected, Pick Game sits beside Play Today’s Game. Use it to choose which game is on today.
What’s included

- ❓ Quick Quiz — Fast trivia: pick the right answer before the clock runs out.
- 🧩 Emoji Riddle — Guess the phrase from a row of emojis.
- 🃏 Memory Flip — Flip cards and match the pairs.
- ⚡ Reaction Test — Tap TAP! as fast as you can. Best time wins.
- 🔤 Word Scramble — Tap letters in order to spell the word.
- 🔍 Spot the Difference — Two emoji grids; tap what changed on the right.
Chorish Plus:
- 🐱 Copy Cat — Watch the tiles light up, then tap them back in order.
- 🔢 Number Grid — A gentle 4×4 number puzzle (1–4 in every row, column, and box).
- 🧭 Word Hunt — Find the hidden words; tap the first letter, then the last.
On free, the Plus games still show in Manage → Games with an Unlock badge. Playing them — and using them as today’s game — needs Plus.
Most games score 1 point plus a time bonus that shrinks as the clock runs. Reaction Test is different: the fastest time wins.
Gameboard
Tap Gameboard on the dashboard (next to Choreboard and Streaks) for that day’s scores.
You’ll see Total Score Per Player and Best 5. Change the date to look back. If the house uses a weekly chore rhythm, totals cover the week.
Settings (home owner)
Open Manage → Games. With Chorish Plus you can add more time, turn on a 2-second peek for Memory Flip, and include the extra games in today’s game.
If a game looks locked
Copy Cat, Number Grid, and Word Hunt need Chorish Plus. In the app you’ll see Unlock to play this game and Unlock your home →. See What is Chorish Plus?.
