How it works

Lists are for packing, guests, shopping, and anything else that isn’t an everyday chore. They stay on the right of Board and Week.

When someone ticks an item, Chorish shows who did it and when. That doesn’t count as a chore, so it doesn’t add to Streaks, the Choreboard, or points.

One list is free, with up to 10 items. Chorish Plus lets you keep as many lists as you need, and add a due date.

See Lists.

Start a list

  1. Open your home on the iPad.
  2. On the right of Board or Week, tap +.
  3. Name the list.
  4. Type an item at the bottom and tap + Add.

Without Plus you can have one list, with up to 10 items. Another list, or a longer one, needs Chorish Plus.

Tick something off

  1. Tap the list to open it.
  2. Tap the circle beside an item.
  3. Pick who did it.

Their name and the time show on that row. Tap the item again to undo it.

You can edit an item, or remove it, from the list.

Rename, remove, or bring a list back

Open Manage → Lists.

  • Edit changes the name.
  • Remove takes the list off Board and Week.
  • Bring back puts a removed list on the dashboard again. If you already have your free list, bringing another one back needs Chorish Plus.

On the list itself, you can change the name, or tap Remove when you’re finished with it.

Due dates (Chorish Plus)

With Plus, you can put a due date on a list, or take it off. The date shows on the list. Chorish doesn’t remind you.
